Local department stores often offer free
makeovers and some even give away samples. Have a play date with the girls, but
remember, most people expect you to at least buy the lipstick.
- host a triple feature
Pick a theme and then get friends to pick up
a flick at the local Blockbuster. Movie tickets can get expensive, so stay at
home, pop up some corn, and you're set...
- throw an Italian style-shindig
Spaghetti is one of the cheapest
meals you can make. Get a buddy to pick up a large bottle of chianti, also
cheap, and get ready to stuff your face.
- compete for cocktails
Start your Saturday with a sporting event
for all to compete in. Whether it's touch football or Frisbee, it gives you an
incentive to be physical. Winner buys the losers drinks.
- stargaze with your sweetie
Bundle up and head out to a field with
a pair of binoculars and a blanket. Chilly air helps to clear the atmosphere and
give you a crystal clear view of the sky.
